Members of the LiC Team at the Telehouse ‘Connect for a Cause’ Fundraising Gala Event
On Thursday 6th February 2025, the work of Leaders in Community (LiC) was recognised and celebrated at the Telehouse ‘Connect for a Cause’ Gala Event. With our fellow Tower Hamlets charity First Love Foundation we were their guest of honour as ‘Charity of the Year’. We are thankful that our youth and community work is supported in this way. Thus, contributing to LiC providing a place and a space for all at the Teviot.
As Syed Uddin, CEO, Leaders in Community, says: “At Leaders in Community, we equip disadvantaged young people with the skills and opportunities to speak out about community issues, challenge inequalities and develop their careers and character. These funds will help us continue offering free, year-round programmes in a safe, supportive space.”
